      • It is a plant species of the genus Pyrostegia of the family Bignoniaceae originally endemic to southern Brazil, Bolivia, northeastern Argentina and Paraguay, but is now a popularly cultivated garden species.

      • Water - During the summer, it needs about an inch (2.5 cm.) of water per week .If the weather is especially dry, you may need to water it once per week.
      • Temperature - the ideal temperatures are 75 degrees during the day and 65 degrees at night.
      • Care Tips - Plant your flame trumpet in regular garden soil with plenty of compost added, to aid growth.
      • Light Requirement- They grow in part shade to full sun, but you'll get the most blooms in full sun.
