When the roses arrive, trim the stems and add water.
Trim 1-2 inches off the stem ends at a 45-degree angle.

Remove the leaves that sit below the waterline, but don't strip all the leaves along the stem.
Check the water level daily and top it up as needed.
Don't place the roses in direct sunlight or near any source of excessive heat.
