Bonsai Ficus Trivia
- Ficus trees are a common plant in the home, mainly due to the fact that they look like a typical tree with a single trunk and a spreading canopy.
- Ficus trees can maintain their tree-like shape regardless of their size, so this makes them ideal for bonsais or for massive houseplants in large spaces.
- Their leaves can be either dark green or variegated. Regular misting is a great way to increase their humidity.
Note- As per growth stage plants may be less or more bushy

Care Instructions
- About Plant: Ficus belongs to the family of Mulberry plants and is the most popular indoor tree species. It is also know as common fig and chinese banyan. It's a fast growing plant and ideally it should be kept in a small pot with a moisture plate under it.
- Water: Water the plant slowly so that it seeps in the soil. Pour 500 ml or 2 cups of water twice a week. Mist occasionally with a spray bottle. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler.
- Temperature: Ideal temperature should be 22- 30 degrees Celsius.
- Light: It can grow indoors close to a sunny window or year around in outdoors with warmer climate.
- Care: Fertilizing a bonsai is essential to its health because the nutrients in the soil leave very quickly with water. Use an organic liquid or chemical fertilizer diluted to one half strength. As ficus is fast grower, prune back 2-4 leaves after 6-10 leaves have grown.
